Now, let’s get started with this Core Game Engine review!

What Is Minigolf Space About?

Minigolf Space is a multi-player 3D minigolf game with a sci-fi space twist.

In Minigolf Space, you navigate your golf ball through a series of twisty-turny 3D mini-golf courses.

Try to sink your ball in the fewest strokes possible while competing against friends or other online players.

Minigolf Space Controls

The controls are intuitive and there is a strength meter that shows the strength of your last shot to help you judge if you need more or less force if you miss this time.

You can also see what hole you are on, how many strokes you've done for this hole, and the number of strokes for par.

You also have a display showing which player completed the course in the fastest time.

The MiniGolf Space Courses

In addition to the normal ramp and bumper obstacles you might find on a regular mini-golf course, there are science fiction additions such as black holes, UFOs, antigravity tubes, accelerators, and more.

Honestly, Minigolf Space is pretty fun if you are a fan of mini-golf, to begin with.  You can also load a variation that takes place on Earth and is more like the terrestrial mini-golf.

I had a good time competing against my friends.

Some of the holes are quite challenging, and it is just fun overshooting the target and watching your ball sail off into space LOL.

What They Did Right

The interface is great and easy to use.

The physics are very good and it is fun to play against friends.

What Could Be Improved

The hole location is not clear on some of the courses.  This could be fixed with some arrows.  Playing through all the courses once helped alleviate this issue.

The game loops around from Hole 18 to Hole 1 without notice or fanfare or game over; it's a little disorienting.

Is Minigolf Space Any Good?

Minigolf Space is very fun, especially if you are a fan of mini-golf.

I had a lot of fun playing with friends.  We did the course like 3 times in a row.

Other people joined in and everybody seemed to have a good time.

I will definitely play this again.
